Among all Zaha Hadid’s works, the Maxxi Museum of Contemporary Art and Architecture stands out. However, Wabi-Sabi is not featured in her works. For Wabi-Sabi to be featured, I have to think of it as beautiful even though it does not comply to the standards of beauty. The museum is considered beautiful, but it is not Wabi-Sabi as it complies with people’s standard of beauty. The designer is inspired by the chaotic fluidity of modern life. She wanted the pathways to overlap which creates a dynamic and interactive space.
